Notable physical characteristics: He's a pretty average guy with nothing much of physical note to make him stand out. He does have old scars that are identifiable as vampire bite marks to those who might recognize them for what they are. Some are on his neck, but most are in places less likely to be noticed. His American accent is an instant giveaway he's not a local, as is much of his dialect. He tends to stick to Americanisms although there are some British terms that have slipped in or get used interchangeably, either through hearing them used often enough or following misunderstandings. He learned not to call braces suspenders the hard way.

Offensive subjects: Homophobia will get his guard up, as will most other forms of prejudice. He has a lot of insecurities so anything he perceives as a slight against him is likely to upset him. Sexual health will become a touchy issue too, though not one that offends him. See below for more details.
