You're not weird, I just told you you were pretty, and there are definitely humans who are willing to date monsters.
You do need to make sure he's not creepy about it though.

i guess you're right. maybe. i dunno. this is so lame, but i've never even been on a date before. no one's ever asked me out even when i wasn't a monster. i didn't think something like this would ever happen. it's weird. and i have no fucking idea what i'm supposed to do.

It's not as scary as you think it is.
You just go to lunch, get to know him.
That's all.
If it goes well he might want to kiss you at the end, but you don't have to do that if you don't want to.
